Synopsis of the Novel
Rebel is a Brazilian soap opera aired by Rede Record since March 21, 2011 which won the 2nd day of the season March 13, 2012.Record produced by Televisa and the Mexican company, written byMargareth Boury and directed by Ivan Zettel, is inspired by theMexican telenovela of the same name written by Pedro Damián], which, in turn, was inspired by the Argentine telenovela Rebelde Waycreated by Cris Morena . Lua Blanco, Arthur Aguiar, MelanieFronckowiak, Chay Suede, Sophia Abraham and Michael Borgesplay leading roles in a plot that chronicles the daily lives of six teenagers who study at a college in semi-boarding and face the"drama" typical of the period, as the discovery of first love, conflicts of self-image, the development of eating disorders, the conflicted relationship with parents, bullying and alcoholism.
In the plot, the six main characters form a fictitious band called "rebels" -. and the six actors formed interpreted, therefore, a band of the same name, making presentations throughout Brazil

Sophia Abraham Albuquerque plays Alice, a teenager of 17 yearsidentified by colleagues as a "fox". His father is FrancoAlbuquerque (Luciano Szafir), a wealthy man and widower and somehow related to the death of his father Peter's character, a period preceding the beginning of the telenovela.
Peter is played by Michael Borges. His mother, Beth (Claudia Lira),gets him a scholarship to school "Elite Way," for which he did notwant to transfer - even discover that Franco would be the father ofone of the students there. Upon arriving at the institution, hebefriends the characters Diego, Thomas, Carla and Robert - playedrespectively by Arthur Aguiar, Chay Suede, Melanie FronckowiakBlanco and Moon. The character of Melanie Fronckowiak, despite being inspired by her character of their Mexican soap opera, was based on the mother Margareth Boury, creators of Rebel, who, likeCarla, suffering from bulimia nervosa. Adriana Garambone playsEve, the mother of the character Roberta.
Rayana Araripe Carvalho plays Pilar, one of the villains of history.
